World Language Class

DCPS Arts: Build Day at the Hirshhorn Museum (5/4)  

Build Day is the culminating celebration of the Enchanted City Cornerstone unit, where students imagine what their city could and should be through architectural sculptures. In partnership with Hirshhorn Kids, Corcoran School of Art + Design and Boolean Girl, this event features a hands-on exploration of design and building. We’ll celebrate DCPS student-artists with an exhibition of their city designs. Art and design activities will be available for artists of all ages to get everyone building and dreaming.  

Virtual Family Book Clubs PK3 and PK4 Families  

The Early Childhood team is hosting virtual family books clubs. Families can join sessions that include music, reading aloud, and art activities. Books, arts and crafts supplies will be provided to participating families. May 30: Grand Cata is hosting a wine tasting fundraiser to benefit the PTO from 7:30-9:30. Each ticket gets you a 2-hour wine tasting, cheese and charcuterie, and a tax-deductible donation to the Seaton PTO.
