Seaton Expands the Recycling Program

According to DCPS, more than 75% of DCPS cafeteria waste is compostable or recyclable. Seaton wants to reduce that waste by asking the students and staff to sort their lunch room garage into compostable food, waste and recyclables. Ms. McAllister and her third-grade students have been collecting paper recycling for the last three years. This year, Ms. McAllister’s team is sponsoring a school-wide recycling and composting project here at Seaton.

Ready, set, go! Let’s recycle!
