The PTO is thrilled to announce that our third annual Spring Auction is now live! We have over 50 items up for grabs, with more being added. You can peruse the catalogue and place anonymous bids from now through April 27 at 6:30 PM. Here’s a taste of some of what you can win (with a special shoutout to members of our community who have generously contributed):
- This year, we have some very special teacher prizes! Win a VR gaming experience and lunch with 3rd grade teacher Ms. Fizer, a trip to the zoo with 2nd grade teacher Ms. Hawthorne, or bunny playtime with 1st grade teacher Ms. Gupta.
- Seaton mom Megan Cummings, owner of District Beautox, has donated multiple treatments, including an anti-wrinkle injection, microneedling, and laser facial resurfacing, each valued at over $500.
- Seaton parents Paul and Brittany Carlson have donated $100 gift cards to their restaurants Lulu’s Winegarden and The Royal.
- Seaton mom and travel planner extraordinaire Lee Friedman has donated two special trip planning packages, one for spring break 2027 and another for a big, bucket list family trip.
- Seaton parents Journey and Helen Williams have donated 4 tickets to the DC United v. New England Revolution game in August.
- We also have donations from local restaurants and bars Dacha, Dog Daze, Ivy & Coney, Maxwell Park, Nellie’s, Republic Cantina, Beau Thai, and Big Bear.
- You can find summer camps, day-off camps, and birthday parties from DC Way, Flagstar Football, Salsa with Silvia, and Labyrinth Games.
And much more including fitness packages, beauty treatments, and outdoor adventures.
Our closing happy hour is April 27 from 5-8 PM at Dog Daze, where you can make your final bids over pizza and wine. Dog Daze will donate 10% of the proceeds to the PTO. We’ll also hold a free raffle at the event for a $50 Dog Daze gift card as well as free Nationals tickets, donated by Councilmember Pinto’s office! Save the date and join us for a fun event.
Help Us Reach Our Goal: Last year we raised $10,000 in our inaugural auction. This year, we are hoping to match that! We are still working on building out our auction website, so if you have ideas for donations, please let us know.
Thank You for Your Support! The Seaton PTO is grateful for your donations, which go so far in support of our little Stingers.
