Ms. Janka hosted Charles F. Bolden, Jr.—former astronaut, NASA administrator, and Major General in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Bolden recently co-authored Star Sailor: My Life as a NASA Astronaut, available from @candlewickpress. Each 4th and 5th-grade student received a copy to add to their personal library!
