Seaton Families,
Enrollment opened today, March 27, for all students. All current Seaton families can now complete enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year. Current families do not need to go through the lottery process; once you have a seat at Seaton, you will complete the enrollment process each year to return.
Below, we are sharing information about the enrollment process, open houses, and after-school programming.
Our goal is for all students to be enrolled for the 2026–2027 school year by May 31!

How to Enroll – Online Enrollment
Please review the “how to enroll” process here: https://enrolldcps.dc.gov/node/76 and view the Online Enrollment video linked below.
.
Enrollment In-Person Hours
Our enrollment office is open daily for in-person support:
- Monday–Friday: 9:30–11:00 AM
- Monday–Friday: 2:00–3:30 PM
We will also host an Enrollment Saturday event on April 25 from 9:30 AM–12:00 PM at Seaton.
Please note that Seaton will be closed during spring break from April 13–17; however, families can continue the enrollment process online during that time.
.
Open House
We invite you to join us for an upcoming Open House:
- Thursday, April 9 from 5:00–6:00 PM
- Saturday, April 25 from 9:30 AM–12:00 PM
These events are a great opportunity to visit our classrooms and school spaces, meet members of our team, and ask questions. Families will also have the option to complete enrollment on-site. Open houses will take place at Seaton ES (1503 10th Street NW).
.
Grades K–5 After-School Program
Enrollment in the after-school program is separate from the 2026–2027 school year enrollment process. Families must be enrolled at Seaton to be eligible to apply.
Once enrolled, families will be able to apply through www.most.dc.gov.
Additional information about the application timeline and dates will be shared once available.
We know how important after-school programming is for families. For SY 2026–2027, Seaton will offer 160 Kindergarten through Grade 5 after-school seats, an increase of 20 seats from this school year (currently offer 140 seats).
.
Grades PK3 and PK4 After-School Program
Enrollment in the after-school program is separate from the 2026–2027 school year enrollment process.
YMCA Power Scholars after-school seats for PK3 and PK4 will be available for the 2026–2027 school year, with seats available for all students who need them.
Families will apply directly with YMCA after completing the Seaton enrollment process. PK3 and PK4 families enrolling with the YMCA Power Scholars program will NOT need to apply through the MOST website for SY 26-27. This is a change in the process, and we hope this updated process makes enrollment easier for families.
The Power Scholars PM Enrichment Academy is a monthly fee-based program that provides enrichment opportunities for students. For more information or to request registration details, visit https://www.ymcadc.org/ or contact Jaysha Washington at Jaysha.Washington@ymcadc.org.
.
Swing Site Location
As part of our upcoming school modernization, Seaton will be located at 300 Bryant Street NW for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years. Learn more here: https://seatondc.org/swing-space-modernization/.
.
Bus Transportation to Swing Site
Daily student bus transportation will be provided between Seaton ES (1503 10th Street NW) and the K.C. Lewis Swing Site (300 Bryant Street NW) during the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years.
Enrolled families will receive a bus transportation survey in late April to indicate interest in using Bus Transportation.
