There will be no school for students on Friday, April 27, but we hope to see many families join us instead for our Spring Garden Work Day from 11 am to 2 pm.

We will be working with partners from The Nature Conservancy, Lowe’s, and City Blossoms on projects we started at our Fall Garden Work Day back in October: building more garden beds, clearing out non-native shrubs and trees, planting a pollinator garden, creating more signage, etc.

The Nature Conservancy staff will be filming to create a video documenting the work day. We will have media release forms available for parents to sign in advance and on the day.

There will be jobs for helpers of all ages and skill levels, including a collaborative art project to beautify the fence around our rain garden.

If you plan to attend, you are encouraged to RSVP using this form to help us plan for lunch (Mr. Diaz will be grilling, potluck style!).

Please contact Ms. Coyne if you have any questions about the work day!
