Come join us for a Seaton family frightfully fun Legend of Sleepy Hollow Halloween Spooktacular outing to hear the National Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, October 29. Our partner, the Kennedy Center will provide 30 tickets and a bus pick-up from Seaton at 12:00 noon. Wear your spookiest costume to hear the ghoulishly attired musicians who might “BOO” you from behind their instruments. We will get there early for the Musical Instrument “Petting Zoo.” Students will be able to get up close and hands-on with the instruments that they’ll see played on the stage–from violins, trumpets, and oboes to trombones and percussion–in the Kennedy Center Atrium. The concert begins at 2:00 pm. The bus will depart from the Kennedy Center at 3:00 pm for the return trip back to Seaton. Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. This outing promises to be a spirited means of fostering family and parental involvement. Suggested age is 5 and up.
The sign-up sheet is posted in Seaton’s Lobby.
