Seaton was honored that the YMCA selected our very own Krystal Ko to represent their program at the White House Kitchen Garden on Thursday, October 6th. The White House garden’s size has grown from 1,100 square feet in 2009 to 2,800 square feet today. It has a new wooden arbor for an entrance, wider bluestone walkways, wooden tables and benches. Krystal and several other elementary students, who participated in Let’s Move! programs, enjoyed harvesting crops from the garden alongside our First Lady, Michelle Obama, during the Final Fall Harvest.
